Combating Online Violence Against Women
In a three-day workshop, journalists were immersed in diverse subjects, ranging from "Essential Skills in Training Digital Security" to "Mastering the Art of Journalistic Expression", and "Crafting Compelling Journalistic Narratives". The training also tackled "Legal Perspectives on Gender-Based Violence", provided strategies in an "Online Harassment Self Defense Workshop", and covered "Bystander Intervention: Supporting Colleagues Facing Gender-Based Online Violence". It concluded with advanced techniques in "Mastering In-Depth Journalism Techniques", blending practical skills, legal knowledge, and in-depth reporting strategies.

Global South Information Disorder Masterclass
A total of 13 researchers from the global South participated in the meeting in addition to a visit to the Canadian Embassy in Amman, followed on the third day by a public event that brought researchers together with fact-checkers and organisations that are interested in information disorder.
This meeting was supported by IDRC to have a discussion about the information disorder in the Global South study which will last for three years (2023-2025) with the participation of the Arab Fact-Checkers Network from ARIJ.

Television investigative journalism, security and safety
The workshop covered the fundamentals of excellent TV storytelling from one side and safety and security for journalists on the other side. The TV storytelling was led by Torben Schou and Frode Rekve who shared their tips and gave guidance to journalists on how to produce highly engaging videos. The journalists also explored high-stakes situations with confidence using Virtual Reality Experiences with Aela Callan and Abeer Saady.
